(Lakewood, Colo. – June 22, 2016) Jefferson County Public Library announced today that the Conifer Library will be closed on Friday, July 1, to accommodate school repairs.
“Conifer High School is undergoing repairs this summer, and next Friday, they plan to do some tiling in the main entry of the school,” said Monica Rezac, Mountain Libraries manager, Jefferson County Public Library. “Unfortunately, that’s also the main entrance to the library, and so we’ll have to close the Library for the day.”
“We’re doing everything we can to minimize disruption to our patrons,” Rezac added. “We’ll extend due dates on materials that day to avoid late fines and fees, and patrons who wish to have their holds transferred to the Evergreen Library may do so by calling 303-235-5275.”
The Evergreen Library is located at 5000 Co Rd 73 in Evergreen.
“We apologize to our patrons for the inconvenience,” Rezac noted. “We expect to return to normal business hours beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 2.”
