(Lakewood, Colo. – July 19, 2016) This summer, Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) set a county-wide reading goal, encouraging Jeffco residents to read a collective 26.2 million minutes. The program ends on July 31, and right now, we’re 5.2 million minutes away from meeting this goal. We need your help!
Summer Reading is a Jefferson County tradition – a JCPL program designed to keep kids reading when they’re out of school and to help them maintain grade-level reading skills. We offer incentives and programs to keep kids (and adults) keep reading and learning over the summer.
Last year, our community read a collective 18,000,000+ minutes. This year, we set a marathon goal of 26.2 million minutes. Here’s how you can help us bring this over the goal line:
• Register for JCPL’s Summer Reading program
