Uncomfortable with technology? Wish you knew how to use a computer? Want to connect with your grandchildren on Facebook? Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) can help.
Our Mobile Computer Classroom (MCC) can come to your retirement or assisted living community to help you connect with the 21st century. We offer free classes in basic computer and Internet skills, email, social networking – even buying and selling online!
The MCC has eight laptop workstations with Internet access and an overhead display for the instructor’s demonstrations. Any non-profit group (or group of four or more individuals) in Jefferson County can arrange for classes in the MCC. The MCC is not wheelchair accessible and there is limited floor space for walkers. To schedule a session at your location, contact Pat Lamprey, JCPL Patron Education Coordinator, at 303-403-5381.
