(Lakewood, Colo. – March 1, 2016) Jefferson County residents are invited to attend community meetings sponsored by Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL). Library executives will share recent accomplishments, preview coming attractions and invite community feedback.
“In Nov. 2015, Jefferson County residents passed a ballot initiative to increase the Library’s mill levy for the first time in 29 years,” said Pam Nissler, executive director, JCPL. “As a result, we are now able to begin to restore services, better meet residents’ needs and put JCPL back on a path to excellence. These are exciting times for JCPL, and we look forward to sharing our future plans with the community.”
Meetings will be held:
- Saturday, March 12, 1-2 p.m. – Evergreen Library, 5000 Hwy 73, Evergreen
- Saturday, March 19, 1-2 p.m. – Arvada Library, 7525 West 57th Ave., Arvada
- Monday, March 21, 5:30–6:30 p.m. – Columbine Library, 7706 West Bowles Ave., Littleton
- Thursday, March 31, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Lakewood Library, 10200 W. 20th, Lakewood
All interested parties are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
